Glucose dehydrogenase

Glucose Dehydrogenase (CDX-901)

$0.00Price
  • Glucose dehydrogenase enables the regeneration of NAD(P)H from NAD(P)+ by catalyzing the oxidation of ß-D-glucose to D-glucono-1,5-lactone. Note that D-glucono-1,5-lactone is easily hydrolyzed to gluconic acid, thereby lowering the pH of the reaction. Codexis offers two different GDHs: GDH-105 and CDX-901 with a specific activity of ~50 U/mg. CDX-901 is our standard GDH and has been produced at MT scale, while GDH-105 is typically more thermo- and solvent stable.
